14th June 2008 Halifax Charity Gala

'Is he a real footballer?'I was askedWell, Rich certainly looked the part and had incredible stamina to save penalty shoots for 5 hours non-stop! As a more senior person (a trustee) I couldn't understand why people would spend £1 to kick a ball 3 times but 300 younger people did. Thanks, Rich.

The Coconut Shy was again a success and some good contacts were made on the Gala Field.

We are proud of our workers and young people as they prepared for the day, especially the entry in the procession. Thank you, everyone, for turning up, helping and supporting. Well Done.
