Week Commencing 25th September gave CICS a great opportunity to lead Years 7-11 in Assemblies on the topic of Friendship.
We also had the opportunity to lead a 'communion workshop' for half of year 7. This gave us the opportunity to explain to the students the purpose of Holy Communion.

Changing tracks is the older group that meet in Holy Trinity on a Thursday lunchtimes. It is still a relatively new venture. Heather and Esther of Central Church, Mr Hughes and John the CICS worker are all involved in running it. It is a relaxed atmosphere we listen to our favorite tracks, watch DVD's and chat about God.
NB: Changing Tracks will now run on Wednesday lunchtimes from the 4th October.

We are having a great time with Rock Solid this year - we are getting between 15-20 pupils attending on average, though this week it was closer to 25!! We have a great team working there: Heather and Laura of Central church, John the CICS schoolsworker and Mr Hughes the teacher. We are currently using material from the Youth Alpha course and are having some great fun and some good discussions with the group.
NB: Rock Solid will now run on Monday lunchtimes from the 2nd October.
