Sponsored Slim - Caroline, Aidan and Rosie Greenwood

 
Throughout Lent, Caroline (vicar of St John's Warley and St Hilda's), Aidan (Caroline's husband) and Rosie (the dog!) are set to take part in a sponsored slim to raise money for CICS and Mara Safe House in Tanzania that helps young girls who are at risk of FGM. 

The weigh in took place at St Hilda's, Gibraltar Road on Ash Wednesday: 

Please support Caroline, Aidan and Rosie and help them raise much needed funds for both CICS and the Mara Safe House. The money raised will be split 50/50. You can read more about the Mara Safe House in this Telegraph article.

Ash Wednesday Weigh In:

Rosie (the dog) - 46.5ibs
Caroline Greenwood - 22st 5lbs
​Aidan Greenwood - 13 st 7lbs

Mid Way through Lent (3rd April) Weigh-In:

Aidan has lost 11 pounds
Rosie has lost 3/4 pound 
Caroline has lost 12lbs

Combines loss is therefore 23 3/4 lbs. The sponsored slim has raised £502.50 so far! 

Final Weigh In (17th April):

Caroline has lost 12 pounds,
Aidan lost 11 pounds
Rosie lost 2.5 pounds

So a total of 25.5lbs - massive well done for the weight loss!!!
