​It’s Your Move:

Every year we work in partnership with local churches to present the majority of Year 6 students in Calderdale with a copy of the “It’s Your Move” book, designed to help students about to move into Secondary School. The book is very honest and practical and aims to equip students with key information about some of the differences they should expect in their new learning environment. “It’s Your Move” is a great supplement to the existing transition work that schools already provide for their students.

As the Scripture Union “It’s Your Move” program is used nationally, some of the material we have used to compile this lesson and assembly has been collected over a period of time from other schools trusts and Scripture Union who we have an association with, and is therefore not copyrighted exclusively to CICS.  The 2 files are in Word format.
