Partner with us to reach a generation with the Gospel in Calderdale

We would love it if you would partner with us in reaching a generation with the awesome news of the Gospel.

Scripture Union are running a campaign to encourage and support local churches to reach the 95% of young people who are not in church. Throughout Calderdale, Christian youth organisations with multi-denominational church youth groups are working together to see a generation reached impacted and transformed by the good news of Jesus Christ. It is our desire to be working together in unity for the good news of Jesus to be known to our young people.

A significant outreach mission is being organised for 2018. TWELVE24 (name taken from John 12:24*) a band with international recognition are joining with us in this sharing of the gospel. Over 2 weeks they will visit a number of secondary schools delivering assemblies and lessons explaining their faith and hope. We will also take the message onto the streets of our town and through our youth groups. This initial 2 weeks will culminate in a gospel concert (Wednesday 17th January) within the Atik nightclub. Over the following weeks and months there will be further coffee shop events and opportunities to explore faith and discover how to live as a follower of Christ.

How you can partner

Prayer - Start praying for the events and youth we are reaching out too. Join us to pray on Tuesday 9th January at 7.30 at Halifax Elim church, Hall Street (bottom of Gibbet Street) send us your email or mobile number and we will send you pray focus updates.

Volunteer - We believe many young lives will be impacted with the gospel and we will need volunteers on the night and follow up events.

Finance - Our youth organisations and some local churches have already contributed to the cost of youth mission but to deepen and sustain impact we need to raise further funds. Bob Arnold and Youth for Christ Calderdale are administering. If your church or individuals can support us with a financial donation please contact Bob or make donations here
